No Texans made the first team in All-Pro voting, which is done by a national panel of 50 media members.
It's the first All-Pro recognition for Joseph, who also made the Pro Bowl this season, and Brown. Foster, the Texans' other 2011 Pro Bowler, was first-team All-Pro in 2010. Cushing earned second-team honors as a rookie in 2009.
Joseph missed out on the first team by one vote. He had 18 to Green Bay cornerback Charles Woodson’s 19. Darrelle Revis of the New York Jets led the way at cornerback with 48 votes.
Brown finished third among tackles with 11 votes, trailing Philadelphia’s Jason Peters (27) and Cleveland’s Joe Thomas (19). ![]()
