“We were kind of light in what we did, but they were all back in practice today, so should be all back out there tomorrow,” Texans coach Gary Kubiak said.
Wednesday was the first time Tate practiced since injuring his hamstring in Week 7. Kubiak wasn’t ready to declare whether the third-year running back will play against Jacksonville.
“I can’t say that,” Kubiak said. “I don’t know until we push through the rest of the week. Obviously, tomorrow is our big work day and (then) we get into Friday. I think we’re heading in the right direction; a lot closer right now than we were at this time last week, so we’ll have to wait and see.”
Daniels was a game-time decision on Sunday at Chicago. He traveled with the team and worked on the field at Soldier Field before the game. Cody and Tate did not travel with the team, but Kubiak said Monday that Cody has “an excellent chance of playing this week.”
