New TV affiliates in Beaumont, El Paso, San Antonio and Valley; more than 30 radio affiliates on board

HOUSTON – This season’s Houston Texans games will be broadcast throughout Texas on more than 30 Houston Texans Radio Network affiliates, and a network of 14 television affiliates will televise three of the team’s preseason games throughout the Lone Star State.

The Texans Radio Network boasts more than 30 stations across Texas, spanning from West Texas to the Piney Woods. New radio affiliate KLRK in Waco headlines the stations joining the network. This year’s radio pregame show will be 30 minutes for affiliates; and the postgame show will last 20 minutes.

Once again this season, affiliates will air Texans programming during the week in addition to the game broadcast. Affiliates will air the Bill O’Brien Show, which will air Mondays at 5 p.m. in Houston, The Duane Brown Show, which will air Tuesdays at 6 p.m., and Texans Replay, an hour-long condensed replay of the previous week’s Texans game, will air on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. All three shows, along with all Texans Radio programming, will be produced and broadcast live on SportsRadio 610, the team’s flagship station.

Texans TV affiliates will carry three of the team’s four preseason games this year, beginning with Saturday’s game vs. San Francisco at 7:00 p.m. CDT, Saturday, Aug. 22 vs. Denver and Thursday, Sept. 3 at Dallas. KTRK-ABC 13 in Houston produces and broadcasts the games across the Texans Television Network.

New this season, all TV affiliates will air the team’s weekly 360/Late Night show, which airs every week of the year starting this Saturday, Aug. 15 at 11 p.m. in Houston.  All affiliates except Victoria will air the team’s weekly Extra Points show (starting Saturday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m. in Houston) and Inside the Game show, (starting Saturday, Aug. 15 at 10:35 p.m. in Houston).  In addition, all affiliates aired the Texans produced TV Specials about the NFL Draft, Houston Texans Cheerleaders, Training Camp, and 2015 season preview.

Highlighting the television affiliate lineup are WOAI (NBC) in San Antonio and KVUE (ABC) in Austin.
