Duane Brown
Texans left tackle Duane Brown is one of the Houston Texans most veteran players, having been selected in the first round of the 2008 NFL draft.  The leadership skills that Brown has developed over the years are not only valuable on the field, but also in the community. He is a leader in community service and continues to make himself available to give back to his fans. This offseason he cheered on the next generation of athletes at our Texans Youth Football Camp, participated in the Texans Charity Golf Classic, and continued to spread the importance of reading to children, partnering with the Houston Texans YMCA to read with the kids. Brown also has a long standing relationship with Houston Parks and Recreation where he is able to purchase tickets for this group through the Texans All Community Team and provide a Houston Texans gameday experience to those who otherwise would not have the opportunity. Duane Brown continues to be one of the most impactful Texans, on and off the field!

Ryan Griffin
In only two seasons with the Texans, tight end Ryan Griffin has established himself as a key player in the Texans Community Outreach efforts. This offseason Griffin headlined the Texans Stampede Tour visiting fans in San Antonio and Austin. On the trip Griffin led youth football camps in each city, attended autograph signings and did radio interviews. Griffin is always interested in meeting his fans and thanking them for their tremendous support throughout the season, even if it means traveling outside of Houston! Earlier this year Griffin also visited patients at Texas Children’s Hospital, participated in the Houston Texans Kids Triathlon assembly at a local school to honor children for their participation in the triathlon this spring, as well as volunteering on Texans Care Volunteer day at YMCA Camp Cinco. Youth in Houston are very lucky to have such a great role model like Griffin.

Johnathan Joseph
As a cornerback for the Houston Texans, Joseph continues to impact the defense each year. Joseph also has a positive reputation throughout the city of Houston as someone who devotes time and energy to bettering the lives of our youth.  He makes it a point to support Texans community initiatives as well as his own through the Johnathan Joseph Foundation. His foundation focuses on character development, academic excellence as well as health and fitness through hosting several youth football and cheer camps.  He also hosts a backpack drive in the summer and works with the Houston Food Bank to purchase food for families in need around Thanksgiving. Joseph has become an invaluable fixture in our community through using his platform to continue to do so many great things in Houston.
