Community Programs

Register here for your chance to win "Lunch with a Texan," which includes lunch in the Texans Cafeteria with the Texans Community Player of the Year, food provided by Whataburger and a tour of the Houston Texans team facilities.

Vote which Texans player you think should be the August  Community Player of the Year in the poll below.

  Johnathan Joseph
Cornerback Johnathan Joseph is a proven leader on and off the field, making him an invaluable member of the Texans’ defense. Joseph has since leveraged this strong leadership quality into great work in the community. As an advocate for the Houston Texans Foundation, Joseph supported major fundraising events such as Team Luncheon and the Charity Golf Classic. Along with supporting the Texans Foundation, he also founded the Johnathan Joseph Foundation, which seeks to impact lives by creating resources that empower underprivileged youth academically, encourage positive character development and emphasize healthy lifestyle choices. This includes youth football and cheer camps, school programs, and holiday events for underprivileged youth. Johnathan Joseph continues to make great impacts in the Houston community!
  Tim Jamison
As a defensive end for the Houston Texans, Jamison continues to impact the defense each year. But Jamison has always been a player to make time to serve the community around him. Through the Stars in the Classroom program, Jamison has visited many schools to surprise deserving teachers with Texans tickets and prizes. He also devoted a Saturday to helping out the volunteers at Star of Hope Missions with Texans Care Volunteer Day in the offseason. Jamison made a special excursion on the Texans Outreach trip, visiting Fort Hood to honor our soldiers and their families. Jamison is happy to use his limited free time to show appreciation to Texans fans who do great work in their community!
  Shiloh Keo
As a father of two boys, free safety Shiloh Keo has enjoyed becoming involved in youth initiatives during his 3 seasons on the Texans defense. Last fall, Keo participated in the PLAY 60 Challenge Kick Off at the Young Men’s College Prep, surprising the students and playing in the Texans Feud game show. Keo also visited Rosa Parks Elementary School to promote the Houston Kids Triathlon and teach them all about the PLAY 60 message. Keo has supported the First Down Dads program on several occasions, helping to host events where fathers are encouraged to spend quality time with their kids. Keo has worked hard to be a great example to his sons by impacting the lives of Houston’s youth!
